Fish String Bag
It’s been quite a while since I made the last fish string bag. And now that I had the opportunity to make one again and use up some odds and ends in the process I wonder why it took me such a long time to get back to this pattern. There is nothing better than diving into the lefover bowl every once in a while!

The best part is to choose the colors for the scales! And do you also like using up one ball of yarn? It feels strangely satisfying. But maybe that’s just me (or because it’s a a good reason to buy yet another ball of yarn, which usually involves a walk to my favorite yarn dealer… And you all know how THAT usually ends).
Here is the finished bag, freshly jumped off my needles!

It got me hooked on my leftover bag, so I’ll dig right back into it and make something small and leftover-y 🙂

I am so excited to be the recipient of this bag! And I am certain my fish-loving niece will adore it too 🙂
Thank you for making me knit this for you 🙂 It was fun!
