New designs in progress

It’s been a busy few months and a lot of things have happened. We’ve had loads of snow, which means of course that all traffic was stuck for a few days, as usual (why on earth would people expect a snowy winter in Sweden? Crazy, right?) Hooray for public transport and train-knitting… My son took his first steps and is speeding up our lifestyle in the process and I bruised my foot and thus now finally have enough time to spend on the couch to start digging into this lovely pack of hand dyed gradients and mini skeins by Wooltopia that arrived all the way from Australia in the beginning of this month. I have a couple of new designs in mind with these, hope you will like them!

I got two different types of yarn this time. A set of pure merino wool gradient and contrasting black, mini merino skeins and the rainbow gradients are 5ply merino/bamboo/silk blend with an incredible feel to it. It took me a while to untangle the minis (I blame it to the rough treatment by the post – thank you very much) and am now finally good to go.

It has been a while since I published my latest toy design, so this one will be for the kids (and the kids in us). I can’t wait to finish it and get it to my testers, who are already impatiently stamping their hooves… I don’t blame them. 🙂

So while the Gift-A-long is in full flow (today is the last day to grab some patterns at 25% off!) and my hall of fame is growing like crazy, I’m doing all I can to get your new pattern ready as soon as possible so that you maybe can make one for Christmas 😛

Happy knitting!
