This year’s Amigurumi-Along (running from July 1 to August 31) is already in full swing, with more than 20 cute amigurumis already finished before the first week is even over! You’re incredible, folks!

I wanted to give you a small overview on the participating designers and also show you some of the cutest toys made so far. It’s still not too late to get all patterns eligible for the prize drawing in the end at a 25% discount until July 9! (Use coupon code AMIALONG2017 at checkout)

The idea for an Amigurumi Along group came from Justyna Kacprzak from Cute and Caboodle and Alyssa Voznak from MonstersToybox. Both are incredibly talented designers of crochet amigurumi toys and are organizing this event for the third year in a row now. A big thumbs up for the two of you! Here are a few of their designs, check them out!

Amination by carfis11  is all about big eyed crochet cuties. I’m especially in love with her Microcosmos collection of insects 🙂

So far – since cast on day July 1st – a whole bunch of crochet cuties have been made that make me wish I could crochet better. Which one is your favourite?

There’s still plenty of time to join in and have fun making toys all summer long.

Happy Amigurumi-ing 🙂
