One month down, 11 to go!
Incredible as it is, January seems to be over already! Where did the weeks go? I barely managed to finish two projects for the UseWhatYouHaveKAL2019 yet, but together we have 46 FOs made already! All from stash yarn, all from queued patterns we always wanted to try out! I say YAY! What say you?

I finished my Song for Elizabeth cardigan this week and already love the result. This was fun! I omitted the hood as my son doesn’t like hoods so much and made it a little longer that neccessary as he’s growing like weed. And he loves his new cardi! Phew!

The pattern has been in my queue forever and the yarns are leftovers from the #24pairsofsocks challenge last year. This sweater has a very easy construction and makes a perfect scrap eater!! I’ll definitely plan for one more soon. But my size 🙂

The next project is chosen already, so I’m looking forward to tonight to cast on the Cyclone hat with yarn that I bought during the Hamburg Yarnfestival 2016. These Bilum cakes have been waiting patiently for a project and I hope the colour changes will not be too long.

As an encentive I organised some prizes for the participating crafters and am happy to announce that the first prize, this lovely project bag made by Nadelmikado

is going to Domic, who made this cute pair of Tipsy Toe socks

Meanwhile I’m happy to announce that the FEBRUARY treat is already chosen, so should you need any more reason to dig into your stash and dust off one of the patterns in your way-too-long queue, please do so now 🙂
Because you can win a top secret but incredibly prettyyyyyy skein of Schibot Garne soft socks which is being dyed as you read this.
Update: The prize is up! You can now win a skein of this beautiful exclusive colourway Cocktail Party from Schibot Garne!

Happy knitting!!
