Creativity Booster Socks knitting pattern PDF

Description
This is a beautiful pattern for showing off your crazy side! It’s made for those of us too impatient to stick to the same pattern through two whole socks – honestly, those can be pretty boring to knit, especially if you have to knit a pair in xxxl 🙂 – you can mix and match the different patterns and colours as you like and as a bonus even use up leftover yarn 🙂 The more colours the merrier!
The pattern is not for a specific size but gives ideas for various sizes, pattern combinations and colourways, it’s your choice which ones to use and in what order. Instructions are given for a top-down sock with a short row heel and various patterns to choose from for cuff and leg.
Techniques used are:
- knit in the round,
- yarn over,
- simple decreases (k2tog, ssk),
- knits, purls and
- knitting with two threads. You can pick and mix according to your abilities, so it’s a good pattern for beginners and advanced knitters alike.
What you need:
Yarn: Fingering weight. I used various leftovers from Opal and Regia sock yarn. (approx 100g for a large pair of EU size 43 / US w 10)
Needles: 1 set (2 sets if you want the triple cuff) of 5dpn, size as indicated on the yarn. I used 2.5mm needles
