These cute fingerless mittens with a romantic lace and scallop edge are a great addition to your wardrobe, matching the “In Bloom shawl” and “In Bloom Socks” patterns.

This pattern gives instructions for mittens with or without thumb.

Techniques used are:

• knits and purls,
• yarn overs and
• simple increases and decreases.

What you need: 

• 40-50g fingering weight yarn. I used Schoppelwolle Zauberball yarn.
• 5dpns or one cable needle, if you prefer (pattern is written for dpns), size as indicated on the yarn. I used 2.5mm needles
• Tapestry needle to weave in ends
